In this workshop, Sarah Milston, Founder and CEO of The Spark Mill will be sharing her expertise on Strategic Planning and the role it plays in a nonprofit organization and why it is essential to your future.
Sarah will review some best practices about the role of board, staff, and your stakeholders and how best to engage them.
Participants will review the trifecta of strategic planning magic – the gathering of data, group processing and dreaming and landing a plan with solid implementation tools.

Sarah is the Founder and CEO of The Spark Mill, which is headquartered in Richmond, VA. The Spark Mill speciallizes in strategic planning, employee engagement, faith based consulting, nonprofit sustainability and brand strategy. They provide these services to businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, higher education, and churches. Sarah loves a challenge and is known for making connections between people and ideas and data. She believes change is a necessary and exciting part of life and works hard to raise two girls with hopes they will be good and kind humans.
